TRANSYLVANIA 2015 ARCHITECTURE BIENNIAL
PROGRAM
CONCEPT
Transylvania Architecture Biennial is imagined as a serial of events destined to bring architecture to public opinion attention and to promote the excellence in architecture, and not at last, to form the public in the spirit of architectural values.
It reflects as objective as possible the activity of participating branches’ members, by promoting the most successful professional practice examples, by forming a critical attitude against the recent architecture.
Public dimension of the event and themes which are going to be approached during Transylvania Architecture Biennial address to the entire regional/national community:
– The speciality audience (architects, probationer architects, architecture students, specialists in connected fields, wide public),
– The audience in the seven county cities where the events will develop (Cluj-Napoca, Bistrita, Zalau, Oradea, Baia-Mare, Alba Iulia, Satu-Mare).,
– Local actors (public administration),
– Scientific and professional community.
Transylvania Architecture Biennial is a manifestation making part of a serial of the events within OAR program for funding the branches prizes for architecture, based on own regulation and autonomy in organisation.
